1. Massive Data Analysis
Our servers process terabytes of options data every night. We simulate hundreds of thousands of trades across all relevant underlyings and timeframes.
2. Robust Grid-Search
We perform a systematic grid search. Every relevant parameter combination is tested for its historical stability and profitability in a rigorous walk-forward analysis.
3. The Daily Results
You receive a curated list of top-performing historical backtests that meet our strict robustness criteria—including all key metrics and exact parameters.
Our Methodology: From Raw Data to Historical Insight
We believe in a transparent and systematic process. The following is an example of how we identify a robust strategy configuration. This process serves to illustrate our general approach, but the specific parameters and filters can be individually adapted for each plan to achieve the desired results.
The Foundation: Data & Realistic Assumptions
A backtest is only as good as its data and its assumptions. We build on a foundation of transparency:
- Data Source & Period: Tick-level options data from an industry-leading provider, covering the period from January 2022 until latest data.
- Execution Model: End-of-Bar fill logic.
- Cost Model: We apply a cost of $1.10 commission per contract plus a slippage of 0.01 points on entry and 0.05 points on exit.
Stage 1: Broad Walk-Forward Analysis
We start with a wide but efficient search to identify promising parameter zones. This involves:
- Walk-Forward Setup: We use a 10-day out-of-sample (evaluation) period, testing a range of in-sample (training) periods from 20 to 59 days in 3-day steps.
- Parameter Grid: This initial search covers thousands of combinations of Premium (from $1.0 to $5.0), Spread Widths (20, 40, and combos like 20-25-30), Stop-Losses (1.25x & 1.5x credit), and Take-Profits (100% credit / expiration).
Stage 2: The Selection Funnel & Refinement
From the initial results, we apply a strict, multi-stage filter. A backtest must pass all these hurdles to be considered for the final run:
- Filter 1: Max Drawdown ≤ $6,000
- Filter 2: Win Rate ≥ 62%
- Filter 3: Profit Factor > 1.75
The Top 11 backtests that survive this funnel are then subjected to a second, more granular backtest across all possible training periods from 20 to 60 days to confirm their robustness.
The Result: Monthly Tracked Performance
Our subscription plans do not provide daily top lists. Instead, we use an exhaustive, plan-specific process once a month to identify a single, highly robust backtest configuration. This selected configuration is then tracked daily for the entire following month, and its performance is displayed in the dashboard. This ensures you are observing the consistent performance of one thoroughly vetted historical model, not a cherry-picked list of daily winners. The methodology described above is a representative example; the actual process is tailored to the specific goals of each plan.

General Marketplace Risks
Options Trading
Options trading generally is not appropriate for someone of limited resources and/or limited investment or trading experience or someone with low-risk tolerance. The risk of loss in trading options and other securities can be substantial. Consider all relevant risk factors, including your own personal financial situation, before engaging in any options trading. The possibility exists that you could sustain a substantial loss which could total more than your initial investment in a short period of time. Therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. In particular, you should not fund options trading activities with retirement savings, student loans, second mortgages, emergency funds, or funds required to meet your living expenses. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the risks associated with trading, you should confer with a trusted and reliable, independent financial advisor. None of the information (“Information”) contained on the Company’s Site (“Website”) provided by the Company constitutes a solicitation to trade any option or any investment or security of any kind.
Options
Options are widely considered a volatile investment class and are priced according to complex factors involving (among other factors) price, the volatility of the underlying asset, time until expiration, and interest rates. By their nature, therefore, options involve a high degree of financial risk. Risks associated with acquiring options include (without limitation): (i) the risk of losing your entire investment increases as the option goes out of the money and as expiration approaches; (ii) the risk that certain options do not have secondary markets on which to sell them, meaning that their value can only be realized upon expiration; (iii) the risk that a particular option contract may have specific exercise provisions that create additional risk; (iv) U.S. or other regulatory agencies may impose regulations or rules that impair your ability to realize value from options; and (v) the risk of losing your entire investment in a relatively short period of time. You should familiarize yourself with the type of Options (i.e. put or call) which you contemplate trading and the risks associated with them (not all of which are captured in this disclosure statement). In addition, options (unlike several other classes of securities) expire, thereby losing any value they might have if not sold or exercised prior to that expiration. This imposes a particular obligation on an option trader to ensure that his or her options are traded or exercised in a timely fashion.
Claims about Option Trading
Be wary of advertisements or other claims of large profits in options trading.
General Economic and Market Conditions
The options market will be affected by general economic and market conditions, as well as by changes in laws, currency exchange controls, and international, national, and regional political and socio-economic circumstances. The options market may be sensitive to general downward swings in the overall economy or particular industries or geographies.

There is no assurance that you will be able to generate returns or that the returns will be commensurate with the risks of investing in options generally, or that you will receive a return of its capital. Trading in options should only be considered by persons who can afford a loss of their entire investment.
